EDI - Main content

At AIB we recognise that every person has a unique background and set of experiences.  That’s why we promote universal inclusion, embracing difference and supporting all colleagues to achieve their full potential. Our aim is to ensure equitable opportunities for all, paying special attention to diverse employees in an inclusive workplace where everyone has a sense of belonging.  Our Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) work also extends to the communities we serve, driving impact that enables inclusive growth and positive changes in people’s lives.

We believe that everyone has a role to play in bringing I&D to life!  We enable colleagues through leading edge policies, an inclusive approach to hybrid working and innovative learning and development opportunities such as our award-winning Mentor Her programme. We also host a suite of dedicated I&D activities running all year long, many of which are led by active Inclusion Networks where employees give life and voice to our I&D initiatives.

AIB is proud to be the first Financial Services company in Ireland to achieve a Gold Investors in Diversity Accreditation. Our ambition is to keep finding ways to improve, working hard to improve I&D employee experiences, practices, tracking and reporting everywhere we operate. We are guided in this work by a wide range of external partners including the 30% Club and the Open Doors Initiative.
